What you'll do

Lead a cross-functional team of software engineers by setting technical direction and providing coaching.
Design and build performance-critical real-time systems using C/C++.

Perform daily development and system administration tasks within Linux environments.
Manage source code and branching strategies using GitLab or Git.
Create portable and reproducible deployment environments using containers.
Define the technical baseline from initial requirements through test documentation and diagrams.
Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences including engineers and program leadership.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
Experience with C/C++ for performance-critical software and Python for automation and prototyping.
Proficiency in Linux environments ranging from user-level development to system administration.
Experience with modern source control (GitLab, Git) and containerized development environments.
Agile experience (preferred).
