Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring the engineering community and experimenting with new tech trends. You will utilize a technical stack including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go. Additionally, you will work with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, container orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services to solve complex business problems.

What you'll do

  • Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
  • Develop distributed microservices and full stack systems to meet regulatory needs.
  • Deliver robust cloud-based solutions to drive customer financial empowerment experiences.
  • Utilize languages including JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go.
  • Manage container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement and maintain various AWS tools and services.
  • Mentor other members of the engineering community.
  • Experiment with and learn new technologies to stay current with tech trends.

What we're looking for

  • At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
  • At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
  • 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
  • 1+ years of people management experience (preferred)
