Lead Software Engineer, Enterprise Agents

What you'll do

• Architect, design, and deliver production-grade software systems including scalable Agent capabilities.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code across services, APIs, and data layers.
• Design orchestration patterns for integrating AI Agents into human and system workflows securely.
• Build and maintain shared system contexts to ensure accurate and reliable Agent behavior.
• Define technical readiness criteria and resolve architecture gaps to meet General Availability timelines.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues across the stack from infrastructure to application logic.
• Evaluate code and Agent behavior for correctness, security, and performance.
• Mentor others on software engineering practices and specific Agent architecture patterns.

What we're looking for

• A related technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience is required.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience including production experience architecting and shipping Agent-based systems.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and API/service design.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, or Python.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, REST/GraphQL API design, and building scalable backend services.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
• Proven experience with Agent orchestration frameworks, tool-calling patterns, and LLM integration in production environments.
• Advanced prompt engineering skills and a demonstrated AI-first engineering approach using tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience taking an Agent product from build to GA at enterprise scale (preferred).
• Experience with Agile software development, test-driven development, and large-scale multi-tenant SaaS platforms (preferred).
