What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers in machine learning and microservices.
Implement security measures including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Bot mitigation, and DDoS protection.
Manage inbound traffic using advanced CDN controls to ensure web assets remain secure and resilient.
Develop robust cloud-based solutions to meet regulatory requirements and improve customer experience.
Utilize Python and Git/GitHub for coding, scripting, and automation tasks.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and stay current on emerging technology trends.
Partner with product managers to deliver high-quality software within an Agile framework.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Native technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
At least 4 years of Unix or Linux system administration experience.
7+ years of DevOps Engineering experience.
5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering working with CDN security controls like WAF and DDoS protection.
5+ years of Akamai experience including App Delivery, Security Controls, and BOT Protection.
5+ years of experience with HTTP Protocols, DNS, and Loadbalancing.
4+ years of experience with coding and scripting using Python.
2+ years of experience working within Agile Development Practices.
Familiarity with OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK Frameworks.
Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity.
