Lead Software Engineer, Cloud Architect

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Translate customer mission requirements into practical software capabilities and technical specifications.
• Create comprehensive architectural designs and long-term roadmaps for cloud solution evolution.
• Produce detailed technical documentation to support design, development, and deployment processes.
• Deliver professional presentations to stakeholders to explain complex technical concepts.
• Automate deployments and configurations for EC2 instances and GitLab pipelines.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
• Security+ or equivalent DoD IAT Level II Certification, or the ability to obtain it within 80 days of hire.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, GitLab pipelines, EC2 automation, C2S/CAP, and high-side AWS environments (preferred).
• Experience with IATT and ATO certification processes (preferred).
• Active TS/SCI clearance and be available to work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base.
