Lead Software Engineer, Application Architect

What you'll do

• Design and architect mission-critical hybrid-cloud systems for large-scale enterprise use.
• Contribute directly to code and solution design to set technical standards for engineering teams.
• Integrate AI/ML technologies and agent-based tooling into enterprise platforms and workflows.
• Define and enforce best practices in software engineering, security, and risk management.
• Develop and maintain automated guardrails within the CI/CD pipeline to ensure code quality.
• Translate complex technical roadmaps and priorities for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor senior engineers and development leads to grow internal technical talent.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must have 7+ years of experience for the VP role or 10+ years for the ED role in building enterprise-scale solutions.
• Must possess deep expertise in architecture and design patterns with hands-on coding skills in Java or Python.
• Must have strong data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling and slowly changing dimensions.
• Experience with transactional systems, analytics platforms, and cloud-native technologies is required.
• Must have a background in risk management, compliance, and secure software development.
• Proven ability to partner with development leads and influence senior stakeholders through excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must be an experienced builder of AI agents and agentic workloads with experience delivering AI-driven projects to production.
• Experience integrating AI/ML into hybrid-cloud and enterprise platforms is required.
