As a Lead Software Engineer - AI Developer/Architect within the Wholesale Credit Risk Core Architecture/Engineering team, you will join a hands-on group designing and coding scalable solutions in a hybrid cloud environment. You will architect, design, and implement solutions for transactional, analytics, and RAD workloads while writing and reviewing high-quality code. Your daily work involves collaborating with development leads and senior stakeholders to deliver robust components for the Wholesale Credit Risk Core Platform. You will utilize technologies including Java, Python, React, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Oracle, Kafka, AWS, Databricks, and GraphQL. The role requires deep expertise in AI/Gen AI architecture, distributed systems, data pipelines, and Data Mesh. You will ensure technical excellence through CI/CD, DevOps practices, and mentoring team members to solve complex credit risk technology problems.

What you'll do

Architect, design, and implement scalable hybrid cloud solutions for transactional and analytics workloads.
Write and review high-quality code while ensuring adherence to established best practices and standards.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive technical excellence across the team.
Present technical concepts and project updates to senior stakeholders.
Mentor and support team members to foster a collaborative and helpful development environment.
Manage AI/Gen AI architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment throughout the SDLC.
Implement common services, controls, testing practices, alerting, and monitoring for the Wholesale Credit Risk Core Platform.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in hybrid cloud architecture including AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud.
Strong coding skills in languages such as Java, Python, React, or similar.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
Extensive hands-on experience in AI/Gen AI architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and SDLC.
Advanced competency in Micro Services, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Cloud Computing, Oracle, Kafka, AWS, Databricks, Data Mesh, and GraphQL.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with development leads and senior stakeholders.
