What you'll do

Architect, build, and evolve the developer experience for Cloud Engineering teams.
Design and evolve critical infrastructure for building, testing, and deploying cloud applications.
Resolve complex problems and debug internal and vendor-supplied tools.
Drive operational excellence and sustainable on-call practices across the organization.
Lead complex troubleshooting and conduct blameless postmortems.
Partner with leadership to define roadmaps and report on productivity gains and platform health.
Manage and operate distributed systems at a scale of over 1,000 nodes.
Automate infrastructure using configuration-as-code and other automation tools.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen located on U.S. soil.
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent related work experience.
At least 5 years of experience coding with languages such as Ruby or Python.
Experience mentoring and providing technical oversight for a team.
Experience managing and operating distributed systems at a scale of 1,000+ nodes or in high-concurrency environments.
Experience with automation in configuration-as-code and infrastructure automation.
Experience with modern Unix/Linux operating systems and distributions.
Experience in hybrid cloud, containerization, and rapid technical adoption (preferred); familiarity with DORA and SPACE metrics (preferred).
