Lead Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
• Design and implement creative security solutions to prevent misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling across multiple organizational assets and applications.
• Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security documentation.
• Implement AI-assisted practices within the SDLC to strengthen security testing and ensure auditability.
• Develop processes to evaluate the effectiveness of current security controls based on industry insights and regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify security needs and recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability.

What we're looking for

• Obtain 5 plus years of experience in Java and Python programming within public and private cloud environments.
• Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions.
• Strong hands-on AI/ML engineering skills including PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLOps, and CI/CD.
• Deep GenAI experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and Agentic AI expertise.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for security workflows while ensuring data sensitivity.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), testing, and implementation.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (preferred).
