Lead Security Engineer, Python

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative security solutions to solve complex technical problems.
• Develop, review, and debug high-quality production code for Python and containerized workloads.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat scenario analysis to identify security risks.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI to accelerate threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security documentation.
• Apply industry insights and regulations to evolve security protocols and determine control effectiveness.
• Implement reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within the SDLC to strengthen security testing and auditability.
• Recommend business modifications to stakeholders to address security needs during periods of vulnerability.

What we're looking for

• Design and build secure Python solutions using secure-by-design patterns, least privilege, and defense-in-depth.
• Perform secure code development, review, and debugging for Python and adjacent stacks including containerized workloads and CI/CD.
• Demonstrate expertise in cloud and DevOps technologies including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• Maintain a strong background in data science and AI, including deep learning, NLP, GenAI, RAG concepts, prompt engineering, and data visualization.
• Apply experience in secure coding, model validation, and data privacy.
• Be skilled in working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL systems.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and multi-modal AI integration (preferred).
