Join our Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering team as a Lead Platform Engineer and drive the transformation of Capital One’s foundational cloud infrastructure. With at least 6 years of experience in build and deployment tools such as Jenkins and GitHub, you’ll lead Agile teams in developing resilient cloud infrastructure that ensures observability, connectivity, and high availability. This role requires extensive knowledge of network security solutions, including Palo Alto Networks NGFW and Intrusion Detection systems, alongside a strong background in scripting and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

At least 6 years of experience using build and deployment tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.
Proven leadership in team management for at least 2 years.
Expertise in scripting languages including Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
Extensive knowledge of network switching, routing, load balancing, and firewall solutions.
Experience with Palo Alto Networks NGFW and Intrusion Detection or Protection systems.
