Lead Payroll Analyst

What you'll do

• Own and review payroll items including base pay, bonuses, equity, benefits, and tax deductions in Workday.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial laws, and internal policies for North America and LATAM regions.
• Lead or support payroll audits, identifying issues and recommending corrective actions.
• Support quarter-end processes, ensuring accuracy of W-2s, T4s, RL-1s, and tax reconciliations in Workday.
• Implement opportunities to streamline and standardize payroll processes with a focus on scalability and risk reduction.
• Drive automation initiatives aligned with the NAM Payroll Roadmap using data and metrics to measure impact.
• Lead complex payroll projects such as regulatory changes, M&A integrations, system rollouts, or new country/state implementations.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of progressive experience in payroll and accounting.
• Deep technical expertise with Workday payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of US, Canadian, and LATAM payroll regulations and tax compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Proven ability to lead through influence without direct management authority.
• Experience driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Openness to leveraging AI tools for payroll process optimization.
