What you'll do

  • Manage client and internal environments hosted in AWS for enterprise-grade applications.
  • Maintain infrastructure and automation required to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Configure and deploy cloud resources using AWS CloudFormation, Azure DevOps, or Terraform.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize large-scale distributed systems in a cloud environment.
  • Use GenAI tools and prompt engineering to automate documentation, scripting, and monitoring.
  • Manage incidents and tickets using systems like Jira or ServiceNow within defined SLAs.
  • Provide 24x7 system support as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Estimate usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms.

What we're looking for

  • 9+ years of experience as a cloud engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, preferably engineering graduate or equivalent.
  • Indefinite right to work within the USA.
  • Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems, shell scripting, OS configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of the Java ecosystem, JEE applications, and application servers like JBoss, Oracle WebLogic, or IBM WebSphere.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, including CloudFormation, Azure DevOps, and Terraform.
  • Experience supporting high uptime/high availability (24x7) systems and managing incident ticketing systems like Jira or ServiceNow.
  • Experience with source control systems (e.g., GitHub), messaging-oriented middleware (JMS), and GenAI tools (preferred).
