Lead Integrations Engineering

What you'll do

• Own the technical strategy for demand-side delivery and set standards across the partner portfolio.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to accelerate team delivery practices.
• Lead the most complex, ambiguous, or new-vertical integrations from end to end.
• Convert bespoke builds into repeatable solutions using shared modules, templates, and runbooks.
• Architect and govern AI-native engineering practices including code-generation pipelines and test-scaffolding agents.
• Mentor engineers through design and code reviews to raise the team's engineering standards.
• Drive feedback loops with Product and Engineering teams to reduce bespoke work and increase capacity.
• Lead technical working sessions with partner engineering teams to provide hands-on guidance on critical integrations.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in a senior or staff-level integration, platform, or forward-deployed engineering role.
• People leadership or strong informal team leadership experience (preferred).
• Ability to write production-quality code in Scala and/or Python.
• Working comfort with Node.js/TypeScript for SDKs and tooling.
• Deep REST/JSON API expertise including authentication, idempotency, schema evolution, versioning, monitoring, and incident response.
• Track record of building reusable architecture, tooling, or playbooks to scale team output.
• Experience using AI-native workflows and tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
• Ability to facilitate technical working sessions directly with partner engineering teams.
