Package, test, and schedule routine patches for business software following vulnerability fix releases.
Investigate devices with active vulnerabilities to reduce the number of vulnerable endpoints.
Collaborate with partners to debug false positives and gather information regarding specific vulnerabilities.
Manage the escalation of patching operations that require exceptions due to potential user impact.
Fulfill business-as-usual requests for packaging new software and updates.
Research and implement improvements to the organization's vulnerability management posture and compliance metrics.
Audit and maintain automated processes to ensure they are correctly updating client software.
Improve vulnerability observability by utilizing telemetry from Mac endpoints to inform data-driven decisions.
What we're looking for
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
At least 2 years of experience managing macOS devices using JAMF Pro.
At least 2 years of experience with vulnerability management and patching.
At least 2 years of experience using packaging tools like JAMF Composer, Apple's package utility, or Suspicious Package.
At least 2 years of experience developing Shell scripts, AppleScript, or Python scripts.
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
One or more JAMF Pro 200, 300, or 400 certifications (preferred).
Experience with Change Management, Agile environments, reporting tools (Qualys, Crowdstrike, Symantec, Trellix, Nessus), and the Mac Admins community (preferred).
