JOB TITLE: Lead, Info Security Systems Engineer The Lead, Info Security Systems Engineer joins the team to apply systems security engineering methods to the architecture, design, development, evaluation, and integration of networks and systems. This role involves working closely with customers and vendors to implement encryption technology, vulnerability analysis, and security management. Key responsibilities include leading Risk Management Framework accreditation processes, preparing Certification and Accreditation documentation using standards like DITSCAP, DIACAP, and NIST 800-37, and managing cyber defense tools such as ACAS and SCC. The position requires expertise in embedded systems, Anti-Tamper requirements, and DoD software selection for COTS, GOTS, and FOSS. The work focuses on maintaining a cohesive security perimeter and achieving security authorization for platform IT systems within a lab environment.

What you'll do

Lead assessment activities for security and privacy controls in embedded systems using NIST 800-53.
Manage programs through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation and authorization processes.
Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation using industry standards like DITSCAP, DIACAP, and NIST 800-37.
Configure and utilize cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS and SCC.
Support security engineering activities including requirements development, design, testing, and configuration management.
Develop and implement Anti-Tamper (AT) requirements and architectures throughout the system development lifecycle.
Draft Program Protection Plans, Cybersecurity Strategies, Security Classification Guides, and AT Plans.
Represent program security needs and requirements during customer meetings and interactions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD 8140 certification (or NIST 800-181) within 6 months.
Experience leading programs through RMF accreditation and authorization processes.
Experience with cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools such as ACAS and SCC.
U.S. citizens.
