What you'll do

Hire and lead a team of electrical hardware reliability engineers for Starshield production.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance during root cause investigations of electrical hardware.
Drive corrective actions for products failing design specifications using yield and defect monitoring data.
Proactively escalate major hardware concerns and secure resources to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain thorough documentation of failure analysis findings, test results, and corrective actions.
Implement improvements to production based on findings from the on-orbit reliability team.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline.
3+ years of experience in hardware development, failure analysis, or reliability engineering.
1+ years of experience leading a project, team, or people.
Experience troubleshooting and root causing electrical hardware failures.
Experience with digital/mixed-signal designs, power electronics, or RF electronics using standard test equipment.
Familiarity with PCBA fabrication processes and environmental testing such as HALT, HASS, thermal, vibration, and TVAC.
Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for required export control authorizations.
