Lead Electrical Hardware Reliability Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead and hire a team of electrical hardware reliability engineers to support Starshield production.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members during electrical hardware root cause investigations.
• Drive corrective actions for products failing design specifications using data-driven yield and defect monitoring.
• Proactively escalate major hardware concerns and secure necessary resources to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain thorough documentation of failure analysis findings, test results, and corrective actions.
• Drive production improvements based on findings from the on-orbit reliability team.
• Align team goals and priorities with production and partner engineering teams to meet reliability objectives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware development, failure analysis, or reliability engineering.
• 1+ years of experience leading a project, team, or people.
• Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, or the ability and willingness to obtain one (preferred).
• Experience with digital and mixed-signal designs, power electronics, or RF electronics using standard test equipment (preferred).
• Experience with environmental testing such as HALT/HASS, thermal, vibration, and TVAC (preferred).
• Experience with RF test equipment and concepts such as S-parameters, impedance matching, and antenna designs (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
