What you'll do

Lead the design and development of scalable, modular, and resilient full-stack systems.

Utilize AI agents for prototyping, refactoring, and exploring technical solutions while ensuring code quality.
Implement functional programming principles and immutability to simplify system debugging and maintenance.
Build and maintain comprehensive automated test suites including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Translate product vision into high-fidelity technical direction and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
Identify and resolve architectural issues to prevent the accumulation of technical debt.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience building production web applications.
2+ years of experience as a Principal Engineer.
Expert-level proficiency with TypeScript and strong experience with React and server-side rendered Next.js.
Deep understanding of orchestrating and composing calls across multiple services.
Proven technical leadership through mentorship, delegation, and high-quality code reviews.
Experience using AI-augmented tools like Cursor to prototype, refactor, and harden code.
Preference for functional programming and a deep understanding of why immutability is critical in modern software development (preferred).
