Lead Engineer, Critical Environments

What you'll do

• Supervise and direct maintenance staff to ensure efficient service requests.
• Check malfunctioning equipment and determine necessary corrective actions.
• Train and supervise operations staff to enhance their capabilities and professionalism.
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs for building systems.
• Direct contracted maintenance work and manage equipment warranties and manuals.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, preparing purchase-order requests as needed.
• Ensure continuous operation and monitoring of all critical building systems.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including supervisory roles.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with fire/life safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and emergency backup systems.
• Ability to manage and implement preventative maintenance programs for building systems.
• Strong training and supervision skills aimed at enhancing the capabilities of operations staff.
• Experience in coordinating contracted maintenance work and overseeing warranty obligations.
• EPA 608 certification and NFPA70E training preferred.
• Familiarity with Corrigo, Zendesk, or ServiceNow platforms beneficial.
