JOB TITLE: Lead, Database Infrastructure Security Engineer As a Lead, Infrastructure Security Engineer in Security Services Data protection, you will partner with product owners and engineers to improve database security posture. You will design and develop security features for products and systems, creating automated solutions for infrastructure management and security components. Your daily work involves integrating security features throughout the product lifecycle, automating unit and integration tests, and developing corporate platform standards. You will utilize Python, Shell/Power scripting, SQL, Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform. Technical requirements include expertise in AWS, Azure, Linux, Unix, and various DBMS like MSSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. You will also manage database configuration compliance, vulnerability management, and threat analytics while supporting SOX compliance and disaster recovery within a hybrid cloud environment.

What you'll do

Create and support automated solutions for managing infrastructure and security components.
Provide database infrastructure monitoring services to software development teams.
Integrate new security features and updates into products throughout the product lifecycle.
Automate unit and integration test cases to solve problems and add value.
Develop corporate platform standards based on cost, capability, and capacity requirements.
Manage database configuration compliance, vulnerability management, and CIS benchmarking.
Support database activity monitoring, SOX compliance, and threat analytics integrations.
Perform infrastructure health checks, patching, maintenance, and disaster recovery.

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields.
Advanced experience with distributed systems across different operating systems and databases in cloud and on-premises environments.
Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Shell/Power scripting, SQL, and modern languages.
Expertise in infrastructure frameworks such as Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems, networking protocols (TCP/IP), and containers like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of database fundamentals, security, and various DBMS including MSSQL, Oracle, and NoSQL options.
Applied experience with IBM Guardium / Imperva DAM and Vulnerability Assessment (preferred).
