Lead Data Scientist, Medicare Sales Strategy

What you'll do

• Define and drive the data science strategy for Medicare sales, distribution, and enrollment growth.
• Lead a team of data scientists and analysts by setting priorities, reviewing work, and developing talent.
• Architect and oversee end-to-end modeling pipelines for lead scoring, enrollment forecasting, and retention risk.
• Own the sales data ecosystem, including governance, quality standards, and integration across CRM and internal platforms.
• Translate ambiguous business questions from leadership into structured analytical programs.
• Establish best practices for model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring across the team.
• Present findings and recommendations directly to VP and C-suite stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
• Partner with Engineering and IT to productionize models and embed insights into sales workflows.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in data science or advanced analytics.
• 3+ years in a lead, staff, or principal capacity.
• 3+ years supporting Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or Part D sales or distribution organizations.
• Proven track record leading and mentoring a team of data scientists or analysts.
• Expert-level SQL and advanced proficiency in Python or R for modeling and pipeline development.
• Experience integrating CRM, broker/FMO data, and BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience with CMS data assets including enrollment files and MCMG-regulated data.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred: Master's or PhD in a quantitative field).
