What you'll do

Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in Big Data development tools.
Build and maintain distributed microservices and ETL systems.
Utilize Java, Scala, Python, and SQL to manage RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
Develop and deploy robust cloud-based solutions using Redshift or Snowflake.
Perform unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure performance and design quality.
Mentor other members of the engineering community on new technologies and tech trends.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in application development.
At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
7+ years of experience in application development including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java (preferred).
4+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) (preferred).
4+ years of experience with Distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL) (preferred).
4+ years of experience with real-time data and streaming applications (preferred).
Bachelor’s Degree.
