As a Lead Data Engineer, you will join an agile team to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions within a full-stack development environment. What you'll do

Design, develop, test, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies.
Build robust cloud-based data solutions using Redshift, Snowflake, or other cloud warehousing services.
Develop applications using programming languages such as Java, Scala, and Python.
Manage big data systems including distributed microservices, NoSQL databases, and real-time streaming applications.
Perform unit tests and conduct peer code reviews to ensure performance tuning and high-quality design.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and share knowledge on emerging technology trends.
Collaborate with product managers to deliver technical solutions that meet specific customer needs.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in application development.
At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Experience with programming languages including Java, Scala, Python, and SQL.
Experience with distributed data/computing tools such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, or Spark.
Experience with NoSQL databases (Mongo, Cassandra) and cloud data warehousing (Redshift or Snowflake).
Experience with UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting.
Bachelor’s Degree.
