Lead Cribl and Splunk Logging Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using Splunk and Cribl Stream.
• Optimize data ingestion, parsing, and routing for scalable log management.
• Develop Cribl Stream pipelines to filter, enrich, and transform log data.
• Troubleshoot data flow issues and provide technical support for Splunk and Cribl environments.
• Monitor and tune the performance of data ingestion pipelines.
• Define log sources, data formats, and use cases with IT, Security, and Operations teams.
• Develop documentation, best practices, and knowledge-sharing resources.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1-3+ years of experience with Splunk, including architecture, data ingestion, and dashboarding.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Cribl Stream, including designing pipelines and managing deployments.
• Strong understanding of log management, data parsing, and event correlation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Splunk Edge Processor (preferred).
• Intro to Splunk certification (preferred).
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin or Cribl Certified Administrator certification (preferred).
