As a Cribl Engineer, you will join a team focused on engineering, designing, and implementing enterprise network cyber defense capabilities to prevent sophisticated threats. You will lead tasks or projects, providing guidance to technicians while ensuring project completion. Your daily responsibilities include building data pipelines for log collection, normalization, enrichment, and routing. You will deploy platforms across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected environments. Required technical skills include experience with Cribl, Logstash, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform. You must possess knowledge of zero trust principles, DoD and IC cybersecurity frameworks, and federal compliance standards. You will also utilize Linux or UNIX command lines, Python, Bash, and various security tools like firewalls, IDS, and SIEMs.
Build and manage data pipelines using tools such as Cribl, Logstash, or Apache Kafka.
Design data pipeline architectures for security operations including log collection, normalization, enrichment, and routing.
Deploy platforms across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected environments using Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Implement configuration management and DevOps tooling such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.

What we're looking for
HS diploma or GED.
3+ years of experience building data pipelines leveraging tools such as Cribl, Logstash, or Apache Kafka.
3+ years of experience designing data pipeline architectures for security operations, including log collection, normalization, enrichment, and routing.
Experience deploying platforms across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected environments using Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Experience with configuration management or DevOps tooling such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform.
Experience working in highly structured, controlled, classified or compartmented environments with strict access enforcement.
Knowledge of zero trust principles, DoD and IC cybersecurity frameworks, and federal compliance standards.
