What you'll do

Configure and manage CDN configurations within the Disney Distribution Mesh.
Manage OpenCache deployments with global ISPs to optimize content delivery.
Analyze performance metrics across caching infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Disney Distribution Mesh.
Develop engineering tools and automation to integrate third-party CDNs into a unified control plane.
Act as the primary point of contact for managing incidents with CDN support teams.
Provide technical consultation on caching solutions to internal stakeholders.
Provide senior tier-3 on-call evaluation, escalation, and troubleshooting support.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing caching solutions.
Experience in a Content Distribution Network (CDN) environment.
Understanding of streaming video protocols (HLS) and its interaction with caching.
Ability to perform network troubleshooting.
Knowledge of video players and their impact on cache logic.
Preferred experience with HTTP/DNS/Internet Architecture, Varnish, NGINX, or HAProxy.
Preferred experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP), Scripting (Python), Security Protocols, and Configuration Management (Ansible).
