Lead Cloud Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development, and integration of cloud software applications in an Agile environment.
• Develop cloud-based applications and configure deployment environments to integrate cloud and non-cloud components.
• Implement applications that satisfy program requirements and the business vision for cloud technologies.
• Coordinate with customers to review designs, estimates, and documented risks or limitations.
• Build and improve automated build, test, and deployment environments using DevOps best practices.
• Provide operational support for applications and tools to meet high availability and SLAs.
• Design, develop, and deploy microservices to Kubernetes-based environments like EKS or OpenShift.
• Develop scalable, highly-available enterprise systems for cloud environments.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 6-9 years of software experience.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4-7 years of software experience.
• Minimum of 10-12 years of software experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust clearance.
• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Software Developer (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming using Java, C++, or Python (preferred).
• 3 years of experience in Java software development, Web Services, JMS, and JavaScript with NodeJS or ReactJS (preferred).
• Security clearance.
