Lead Automation and Controls Engineer, Silicon Technology

What you'll do

• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team to architect and optimize high-output factories.
• Architect and scale automation systems for internal advanced silicon packaging lines.
• Develop and deploy new manufacturing processes with high machine reliability and safety standards.
• Recruit and mentor top engineering talent to achieve technical excellence and project roadmaps.
• Interface with equipment suppliers to develop and enforce specific machine requirements.
• Design and commission high-quality electrical panels and electro-mechanical systems.
• Program PLCs and integrate SECS-GEM protocols into Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Monitor machine health and control systems using HMI, SCADA, and IoT protocols.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in an automation engineering role.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee eligible for State Department authorization.
• Experience leading engineers and technicians with evidence of providing technical direction and mentorship (preferred).
• Experience developing and tracking roadmaps and motivating a team to achieve them (preferred).
• Semiconductor industry work experience including SECS/GEM protocol (preferred).
• Experience with motion systems, electrical sizing, fail-safe circuit design, and fieldbus networking protocols (preferred).
• Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, and CAD/PLM programs like Siemens NX and Teamcenter (preferred).
