Lab Operations Site Supervisor

What you'll do

• Manage the physical infrastructure and site requirements for datacenter bench and rack engineering labs.
• Coordinate schedules with project managers to prepare sites for streamlined server installation processes.
• Own the end-to-end assembly and installation of servers containing mechanical, PCB, and electronic components.
• Oversee system validation tests by interpreting schematics, reworking PCBs, and connecting measurement instruments.
• Supervise the debugging of server and PCB problems to identify root causes.
• Lead the maintenance and improvement of physical infrastructure to facilitate system deployments.
• Manage the ordering, shipping, and receiving of lab equipment and samples.
• Write and modify test scripts to run on Windows and Linux operating systems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• Engineering background with strong experience in lab equipment and technology.
• Junior management experience in a lab environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an innovative product development environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage with partners and leadership.
• Ability to navigate conflicting objectives and negotiate with suppliers and support services.
• Proficiency in MS Visio, MS SharePoint, and Jira (preferred).
