What you'll do
Provide technical L2 support and post-mortem analysis using ITIL standards.
Monitor applications to ensure SLAs are met and maximum availability is achieved.
Address user and system tickets, manage escalations, and coordinate with major incident teams.
Build subject matter expertise on supported applications and maintain documentation.
Approve application code releases and perform related support tasks.
Support the transition of applications to Google Cloud Platform and assist in onboarding.
What we're looking for
Extensive experience providing hands-on IT support and interacting with applications and end users.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools like Kubernetes, terraforming, monitoring, alerting, debugging.
Solid understanding of ITIL standards for Incident Management, Service Request fulfillment, Change Management, Knowledge Management, and Problem Management.
Strong written and oral communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux tasks including searching logs, process commands, start/stop processes, and OS command usage.
Previous experience in a production support environment within the financial or banking sectors.
Ability to work across countries, regions, and time zones with diverse cultures and willingness to do weekend support.
