What you'll do

Maintain and monitor production systems to ensure optimal performance across development, test, and production environments.
Manage system accounts, install software, and implement critical security patches and STIG remediations.
Execute backup and recovery processes while monitoring disk space and server health alerts.
Perform database maintenance including configuration, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with information assurance controls.
Coordinate the monthly sustainment release by managing Windows updates, software patches, and test plans.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues by analyzing log files and running diagnostic tests.
Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, inventory, and change requests.
Assist in developing and reviewing test scripts to verify management server functionality.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be able to successfully complete a background investigation.
CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
A BS degree or equivalent experience is required.
Microsoft MCP or equivalent certification is required (must be obtained within 6 months of starting).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with good documentation practices are required.
Experience in Microsoft server administration or VMware administration (preferred).
Experience in Oracle database administration or MS SQL Server (preferred).
