What you'll do

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of backend developers in an Agile environment.
Architect and design scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Collaborate with data scientists to integrate and deploy machine learning models into production environments.
Design API structures and data pipelines to support real-time inferencing and model retraining.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Enforce best practices for code quality, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines through regular code reviews.
Partner with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and prioritize features.
Research emerging trends in AI and backend technologies to prototype new ideas and tools.

What we're looking for

6+ years of professional experience in backend software development with a strong command of Java.
3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or lead developer role.
Extensive experience with the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot, for building microservices.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Proficient in designing and building RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using message brokers like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Experience with AI/ML models, cloud platforms, Python, MLOps, or data processing frameworks (preferred).
