IT Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code for on-prem VMware and cloud environments.
• Automate server builds, configurations, and patching for Linux and Windows using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes, including code review and automated deployment.
• Create hardened golden images and baseline configurations aligned to CIS benchmarks.
• Automate compliance evidence collection, configuration drift detection, and remediation for audits.
• Integrate automation with identity, storage, backup, and monitoring platforms.
• Build and maintain automated utilization reports for forecasting.
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident response, and on-call rotations.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.).
• 7+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering.
• At least 2 years focused on automation and infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and at least one configuration management tool (Ansible preferred).
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python.
• Solid Git skills, including branching, pull requests, and code review.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows Server in well regulated enterprise environments.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
