What you'll do

Design and implement highly available networks balancing routing and redundancy for production and launch environments.
Evaluate, procure, and deploy network hardware including switches, firewalls, and SDWAN appliances.
Develop and maintain network automation tooling for configuration analysis, linting, and scalability.
Troubleshoot network issues and publish root cause analysis documentation and retrospective data reviews.
Provide real-time networking support and on-call coverage during launch and test campaigns.
Configure and maintain networks in compliance with ITAR, ISO, and NIST cybersecurity standards.
Create and update technical documentation including architecture overviews, design drawings, and operational procedures.
Perform job walks with vendors and customers to gather requirements and create implementation plans.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 3+ years of professional network engineering experience.
5+ years of professional network engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to pass a DoD background check for launch site access.
U.S. citizenship, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status as required by ITAR.
Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and provide 24x7 on-call support as needed.
Ability to lift 30 lbs, work at heights, and work in tight quarters.
Active valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 20% worldwide.
Extensive experience with Layer 2/3 networks, Cisco/Arista/Juniper switches, and automation tools (preferred).
