IT Infrastructure Security Specialist

What you'll do

• Analyze security alerts and investigate cyber and physical security incidents to coordinate response actions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations across IT and facility environments.
• Monitor and correlate cyber and physical access events to identify insider threats or unauthorized access.
• Implement and maintain security controls for networks, servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud services.
• Coordinate the implementation and sustainment of physical security measures including CCTV and intrusion detection systems.
• Process and coordinate personnel security clearance investigations and employee background checks.
• Verify suitability processing documents and conduct agency checks including credit reports and fingerprint cards.

What we're looking for

• Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance at time of consideration.
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of prior IT relevant experience.
• Requires a Master’s degree with 6+ years of prior IT relevant experience.
• Ability to analyze security alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate response actions.
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations across IT and facility environments.
• Experience implementing security controls for networks, servers, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Experience coordinating physical security measures including CCTV, IDS, and badge management.
• Experience conducting background checks, processing security clearance investigations, and verifying suitability documents.
