The IT Business System Analyst joins the Enterprise Core Technology group to bridge the gap between business processes and technical execution. This role involves balancing functional analysis with hands-on technical delivery across Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud environments. Key responsibilities include requirements elicitation, process mapping, module configuration, and developing custom technical solutions. The successful candidate will architect secure REST/SOAP APIs, manage automated data pipelines, and lead business process re-engineering for operational and financial workstreams. Required expertise includes Oracle EBS (R12), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, SQL, and PL/SQL. You will also develop BI Publisher reports, manage data migrations, and perform Tier-3 production support. This position solves complex business challenges by aligning enterprise software capabilities with strategic objectives through Agile methodologies and robust documentation standards.
Translate complex business requirements into Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
Configure core Oracle ERP modules and develop custom technical solutions using native Oracle tools.
Architect and implement secure REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and automated data pipelines.
Lead business process re-engineering, gap analyses, and configuration for operational and financial workstreams.
Manage high-volume transactional and master data structuring, governance, and validation across enterprise systems.
Drive end-to-end data migration, functional validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for cloud modernization.
Provide Tier-3 production support by performing root-cause analysis and engineering long-term technical resolutions.
Develop BI Publisher/XML Publisher reports, custom interfaces, workflows, and database procedures using SQL and PL/SQL.
What we're looking for
4+ years of experience designing and implementing Oracle e-business Suite applications and Oracle cloud applications.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Proven expertise balancing functional configuration and technical development across Oracle EBS (R12) and Oracle Cloud Applications / Infrastructure (OCI).
In-depth functional understanding of core operational workflows, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), or Oracle Financials suites.
Hands-on experience developing BI Publisher/XML Publisher reports, custom interfaces, workflows, and database procedures using SQL and PL/SQL.
Strong background in API integrations, web services, and data transformation, with experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or enterprise middleware platforms (preferred).
Demonstrated proficiency in business process mapping, gap analysis, and authoring AIM/OUM deliverables (preferred).
