What you'll do
- Plan system and subsystem power and charging architecture, including IO trees and wired/wireless charging policies.
- Translate system requirements into IC definitions and write technical specifications and datasheets.
- Conduct IC design reviews and manage bug tracking throughout the full product development cycle.
- Participate in schematic, layout, and IP development reviews for power management systems.
- Lead prototype bring-up and perform lab debugging of hardware components.
- Perform bench verification of functional and parametric characteristics using automation scripting.
- Conduct signal characterization across various power and charging domains.
- Provide production test support, manufacturing assistance, and resolution for field issues.
What we're looking for
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of industry experience.
- Strong EE fundamentals including power converters, op-amps, filters, ADCs/DACs, and output drivers.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment, circuit prototyping, and debugging.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in areas such as SMPS, linear power supply, PMIC, system power architecture, charging, or battery management (preferred).
- Experience collaborating across hardware, software, mechanical, and thermal engineering disciplines (preferred).
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
