Power Delivery Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, analyze, and validate power delivery solutions including DC-DC converters, passives, and distribution networks.
• Model power components and evaluate their potential impact on electromagnetic interference (EMI).
• Define system power architecture requirements and IP specifications in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with external vendors to develop and productize future generations of power integrated circuits.
• Provide technical guidance for board layout, product bring-up, debugging, and factory builds.
• Conduct design feasibility studies, testing, and verification for complex power conversion systems.
• Develop and refine methodologies to optimize system performance while minimizing size, cost, and EMI.

What we're looking for

• BS/MS or PhD in a relevant field (PhD is preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in the relevant field (7+ years is preferred).
• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in power electronics design, including DC-DC converters, LDOs, PMICs, or PMUs.
• Experience in architecture design of complex power conversion systems or power management ICs.
• Experience in board-level testing, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and signal generators.
• Experience in layout planning, routing strategies, and relating electrical performance to physical layouts.
• Knowledge of circuit and EM simulation tools such as Cadence/Sigrity, ADS/Spice/Spectre, Ansys HFSS/Maxwell/SIWave, or CST (preferred).
