International Engineering Lead, Intelligence Features

What you'll do

• Architect and deliver next-generation international intelligence features across iOS, macOS, and watchOS platforms.
• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, project managers, and language experts to drive international customer experiences.
• Assess feature internationalization readiness and review statistical evaluation results across multiple locales.
• Build tools and prototypes to scale intelligence features and improve evaluation processes.
• Explore and apply Large Language Models (LLMs) for localization and internationalization tasks.
• Manage the full engineering lifecycle from ideation and prototyping to training and on-device qualification.
• Author weekly executive status updates and represent international engineering in leadership meetings.

What we're looking for

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning (or equivalent experience).
• Experience leading large cross-functional software engineering projects with significant international impact.
• Experience with Machine Learning, specifically Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Proven ability to understand, interpret, and apply cutting-edge research to consumer-oriented products.
• Experience influencing cross-functional and cross-culturally partners at multiple levels, including senior leadership.
• Experience writing crisp and effective executive status updates.
• Proficiency using open-source ML toolkits and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Swift, C, or C++.
