Intern Finance Specialist 2027 - SAP Application Operations is a role within the IBM Consulting FutureNow Center team focused on supporting enterprise systems. You will work alongside experienced professionals to maintain, enhance, and optimize SAP-based enterprise environments through technology-enabled solutions. Daily responsibilities include performing application support, incident management, system testing, and gathering requirements for business process improvements. You will also analyze operational data to identify trends and provide recommendations to improve client outcomes across various industries like healthcare and manufacturing. The role requires a background in computer science or information systems and involves working with SAP ERP platforms, cloud technologies, AI-enabled tools, and ITIL frameworks. Maintain, enhance, and optimize SAP-based enterprise systems using technology-enabled solutions.
Support SAP application operations to improve system performance and service delivery.
Analyze business processes and gather requirements for system maintenance and enhancements.
Manage incidents and perform solution validation for SAP applications.
Conduct testing activities to ensure the reliability of SAP enterprise solutions.

What we're looking for
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Interest in SAP, enterprise applications, ERP platforms, application operations, or business transformation concepts.
Basic understanding of how enterprise applications and SAP support supply chain, finance, procurement, human resources, and business operations.
Experience with data analysis, reporting, process improvement, application support, or business problem-solving through coursework, projects, or other practical learning.
Awareness of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and automation, and their impact on enterprise operations.
Familiarity with business analytics, process improvement, cloud technologies, ITIL frameworks, or SAP application support concepts (preferred).
Exposure to SAP, ERP systems, application operations, managed services, or related business technologies through coursework, projects, research, or internships (preferred).
