The Integration & Test Engineering Manager provides technical and organizational leadership for a multidisciplinary team focused on system integration, test engineering, and field test operations. This role involves overseeing the development of Special Test Equipment, managing automated test frameworks, and directing large-scale field test campaigns in contested environments. The manager is responsible for translating concepts into testable requirements, ensuring configuration control, and performing root-cause analysis across RF hardware, embedded software, and digital interfaces. Key technical competencies include proficiency in Python scripting, automation development, and IBM DOORS for requirements management. The role addresses critical challenges in the navigation sector, specifically ensuring that GPS and Position, Navigation, and Timing systems maintain reliability against jamming and spoofing. The manager ensures these subsystems remain effective under adversarial conditions to support mission-critical operations in denied or degraded environments.
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of integration, test, and field engineers.
Oversee the development and maintenance of Special Test Equipment (STE) and automated test frameworks.
Translate operational concepts into testable system requirements and integration directives for engineering teams.
Direct system-level integration activities including configuration control, deployment planning, and execution oversight.
Manage complex production lab environments, including automation infrastructure, networks, and power systems.
Plan and execute live-sky and range-based field tests in contested and degraded environments.
Analyze large datasets from field events to identify performance characteristics and system anomalies.
Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies and partners regarding field test coordination.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 9+ years of experience; OR graduate degree with 7+ years; OR 15+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Active U.S. Secret Clearance.
Direct leadership experience managing integration and test engineering teams (preferred).
Deep understanding of RF fundamentals, interference effects, GPS/PNT signal characteristics, jamming/spoofing mechanisms, and field test operations (preferred).
Extensive experience using IBM DOORS for requirements development, decomposition, traceability, and verification management (preferred).
Strong background in Python scripting, automation development, and hardware/software debugging (preferred).
Proven ability to lead complex system integration efforts and improve test automation processes (preferred).
Work authorization documents, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
