JOB TITLE: Installation Technician
The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking an Installation Technician and Jr. Data Analyst to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD/IC within the Infrastructure Services Enterprise Operations Program. You will perform installation, configuration, decommissioning, and support for end-user devices including desktops, printers, and peripherals while ensuring strict security posture compliance. Responsibilities include deploying hardware and software, managing cable infrastructure, and performing data analytics functions such as cleaning, validating, and analyzing data from multiple sources. You will develop automated reports and dashboards to support the system lifecycle process. Required skills include familiarity with ServiceNow and Remedy, knowledge of network security protocols, and proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and scripting languages like Python, HTML, and PowerShell to maintain reliable infrastructure data.
Install, configure, and decommission end-user devices including desktops, printers, phones, and related peripherals.
Deploy new hardware and software while performing system upgrades and cable management.
Ensure network and endpoint equipment meet DoD security postures and local command mandates.
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
Perform basic statistical analysis and data quality checks to support reliable reporting and decision-making.
Prepare and maintain technical, operational, and procedural documentation for systems and data methodologies.
Identify and implement improvements to data collection, reporting processes, and analytical workflows.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, Master's with 2 years, Associate's with 6 years, or High School Diploma with 8 years.
Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements such as Security+, GICSP, or Cloud+.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph or TS/SCI with willingness to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
Must have basic to intermediate technical skills in scripting or development tools such as HTML, Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, PowerShell, and Visual Studio.
Must have familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools including ServiceNow and Remedy.
Must have basic knowledge of PC and network communications hardware, software, and network security best practices.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and have basic experience with SQL for querying and manipulating datasets.
Must have 2+ years of experience managing teams of IT professionals and/or supporting medium to large scale enterprise environments (preferred).
