Infrastructure Specialist, System Administration

What you'll do

• Provide 24/7 technical support for cloud-based solutions including applications, DevOps, middleware, and infrastructure components.
• Develop and configure infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform for Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Manage system security by identifying threats, fixing technical problems, and installing software updates.
• Manage Application ID and provide cloud elasticity through auto-scaling resources based on business requirements.
• Ensure disaster recovery and manual redundancy failover capabilities for all managed systems.
• Resolve issues involving APIs, application services, and infrastructure while escalating complex problems to higher support levels.
• Install and configure databases such as MYSQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL while ensuring security and performance.
• Maintain logging clusters using Logstash, ElasticSearch, and Kibana to parse logs from applications and Docker containers.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Experience providing 24/7 technical support for cloud-based solutions, including DevOps, middleware, and infrastructure components.
• Experience developing and configuring infrastructure as code using Ansible and Terraform on Windows, Linux, and Unix servers.
• Experience installing and configuring databases such as MYSQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud security features like load balancing and CDN options from multiple vendors.
• Exposure to installing and maintaining logging clusters using Logstash, ElasticSearch, and Kibana (preferred).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, Kubernetes nodes, and cloud application architecture (preferred).
