Infrastructure Solutions Architect

What you'll do

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and modern infrastructure solutions for Public Health data modernization.
• Create technical architectures across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-based environments to meet client needs.
• Recommend specific tools and technologies based on research of current environments and available resources.
• Lead a team of developers to solve complex challenges in cloud computing and scientific computing systems.
• Ensure all infrastructure designs and implementations adhere to established engineering and cloud governance standards.
• Develop critical systems using .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL for scientific computing applications.
• Manage and troubleshoot IaaS environments, Linux/Unix systems, and shell scripting tasks.
• Implement automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices to improve system delivery.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of experience designing and administering enterprise applications in on-premise or cloud scientific-computing environments.
• 5+ years of experience developing with .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL.
• Experience managing a team of five or more developers.
• Experience architecting secure cloud-based solutions and adhering to engineering and governance standards.
• Experience deploying/troubleshooting IaaS environments, Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Gen-AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
