What you'll do

  • Analyze and implement security controls to ensure IT systems are resistant to attack.

  • Create and exercise IT survivability, contingency, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations plans.
  • Ensure all agency systems comply with regulatory standards and documented guidance.
  • Manage infrastructure artifacts to ensure successful completion of internal and external audits.
  • Provide cyber defense services including intrusion detection, prevention, and incident response actions.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity in a professional or academic research environment.
  • Experience evaluating security vulnerabilities and developing mitigation or remediation strategies.
  • Experience performing annual security reviews and developing IT contingency, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations plans.
  • Knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Ability to create cybersecurity documentation, including security plans and procedures.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
