The Information Security Risk Analyst joins the Information Security team to enhance the organization's ability to detect malicious behavior and security anomalies across the enterprise. This role focuses on detection development, threat analysis operationalization, SIEM correlation, behavioral analytics, and AI-assisted threat detection capabilities. The analyst will develop, test, and tune SIEM detection rules, log correlation searches, and dashboards while translating threat intelligence into actionable detections mapped to MITRE ATT&CK tactics. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying gaps in logging telemetry, improving alert triage playbooks, and supporting incident response investigations. Key technical requirements include proficiency with platforms like Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or Exabeam; query languages such as KQL, SPL, or SQL; and tools like Microsoft Defender XDR. Candidates should also possess skills in Python, PowerShell, and experience with UEBA, cloud security monitoring across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
