What you'll do

Lead comprehensive characterization of Apple camera products at component and system levels.
Develop and refine image processing algorithms for quantitative assessment of image quality.
Incubate new metrology techniques for next-generation products and facilitate technology transfer.
Provide feedback to improve camera design and manufacturing processes based on validation results.
Deliver executive-level presentations summarizing image quality evaluation findings.

What we're looking for

BS in EE, Optics, Color Science or equivalent required
Proficient in Matlab and/or Python programming
Hands-on experience working in an optical lab
Expertise in image quality metrics and evaluation methodology
Experience with camera ISP pipeline and megapixel CMOS sensors
Familiarity with lens selection and qualification processes
Deep learning experience for image segmentation and object recognition
