IDCS Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Install, configure, validate, and troubleshoot data center hardware and software.
• Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate complex system tasks.
• Maintain internal infrastructure, network, and automation environments while debugging connectivity issues.
• Create procedures and documentation for automated builds and configuration of prototypes and production environments.
• Diagnose complex error messages to identify and resolve hardware and software performance issues.
• Collaborate with Project Management and Quality Control teams to determine integration requirements and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and improve the design of automation, information, and operational support systems.

What we're looking for

• Write, debug, and maintain code in Microsoft PowerShell, Bash, and Python to automate tasks and develop software solutions.
• Work proficiently in CLI-based environments.
• Expertly install, maintain, and troubleshoot BIOS firmware and device drivers.
• Possess advanced networking knowledge including OSI layers, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and routing.
• Have extensive experience with data center server, storage, and networking infrastructure.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux-based operating systems (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Tier 2/Tier 3 IT Support (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
