HW Test Development Engineer

What you'll do

• Architect, design, build, and operate hardware test systems for satellite hardware verification at bring-up, sub-system, and system levels.
• Define test requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with design engineers.
• Build quantitative models for test coverage, reliability, and throughput to inform design trade studies.
• Analyze test data and generate comprehensive reports including recommendations for improvement.
• Perform root cause analysis on test failures and lead corrective actions for test systems.
• Optimize test coverage, reduce testing time, and improve measurement accuracy for phased array antenna hardware.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems.
• 3+ years of experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Perl.
• Experience with test plan development, building test bench infrastructure, and verifying designs.
• Experience designing and planning test conditions, scripts, and data sets to ensure coverage.
• Experience using common electronics test equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators.
• 1+ years of experience with signal and/or power integrity (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum for export control compliance.
