HW Dev Engineer II Payload

What you'll do

• Own PCBA development from initial concept through final production.
• Design and optimize electronic sub-systems including high-speed digital and RF circuitry.
• Lead the schematic capture and PCB layout processes.
• Manage PCB vendor engagement for DFM reviews and optimize stack-up for cost and performance.
• Develop test plans and procedures based on high-level requirement definitions.
• Execute board bring-up and conduct test campaigns for various modules and subsystems.
• Design automated test systems, test fixtures, and factory testing equipment.
• Support the transition of hardware designs into full production.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is preferred.
• 4+ years of industry experience in mixed signal PCBA design.
• 3+ years of experience using schematic tools like Mentor Graphics Xpedition, Cadence OrCad, or Altium Designer.
• 2+ years of experience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
• 1+ years of experience in high-speed digital design such as SERDES, Ethernet, and PCIe.
• 1+ years of experience with signal and/or power integrity is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee for export control compliance.
